Certified Nursing Assistant Program - Jacksonville Location
Program Description

The CNA program at Jacksonville will consist of 130 hours of classroom and
clinical instruction. The first week is 40 hours of work prep. The second and third
week includes 74 hours of CNA classroom instruction and 16 hours of clinical at a
local nursing facility.
After successfully completing the program, each student must take the CNA
certification exam to practice in the state of Arkansas.  The certification exam will
consist of two parts: a written (or oral) exam, and a skills lab demonstration.  To
pass the certification exam successfully, everyone must pass both the written (or
oral) exam and the skills demonstration. The certification exam is offered through

Pulaski County Special School District

PAL CNA Training Academy is a partner of Pulaski County Special School District. This partnership offers prep services for students who may have difficulty with reading comprehension, writing, or simple math that is a part of providing services as a CNA and is necessary to pass your CNA course.  If eligible, the prep work is offered concurrently by a certified instructor while completing your training at PAL CNA Training Academy and is free of charge. 

Enrollment Fees

The cost of enrollment to this program is $755.00 (Tuition is $550.00 with a
$100.00 non-refundable registration fee; book is $55.00; CPR $50.00).
Discover, MasterCard, and Visa are accepted methods of payment. Cash
payments are also accepted.

We do offer a payment plan: $380.00 must be paid when you enroll.  This
includes the first payment of $325.00 and $55.00 for the text.  The second
payment of $375.00 must be made at the beginning of the second week of
classes. This includes the second payment of $325.00 and $50.00 for CPR.

PCSSD Scholarship Opportunity

After successfully completing the CNA course and CPR training, each
student is eligible to apply for a scholarship that will cover all the fees paid
for the CNA training, textbook, and CPR course.
