Program Overview
Are you ready to launch your career in healthcare? Our CNA program is designed to provide an in-depth learning experience, comprising 90 hours of comprehensive classroom and clinical training to prepare you for success. The curriculum includes 74 hours of interactive classroom instruction and skills lab training, followed by 16 hours of clinical practice in a local long-term care facility. Upon successful completion, you will be awarded a program completion certificate.
After finishing the program, you will need to pass the Arkansas CNA competency exam to obtain certification. The exam consists of a written (or oral) component and a practical skills demonstration. Our dedicated instructors are here to ensure you are well-prepared for both parts of the exam.
What is a CNA?
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a vital healthcare professional who provides essential care to patients, predominantly in long-term care facilities, hospitals, and home health environments. CNAs assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility, as well as monitoring vital signs, maintaining hygiene, and offering emotional support. CNAs work in close collaboration with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure patients receive compassionate, high-quality care.
